Using Jamaica National you can transfer funds to family and friends in Jamaica. Jamaica National also allows you to send loved ones minutes to Digicel and Lime Phones.*
Information you need to have:
- The correct spelling of the receiver’s name
- The current residential address of the receiver
If sending $1000.00 and over you will need a valid Government picture ID including:
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- Citizenship Card
- Permanent Resident Card
Information the receiver will need:
- The confirmation number you are given at the end of the transaction
- A valid government issued photo ID
WESTERN UNION
Allows you to send money to your loved ones in a safe and convenient manner.
Information you need to have:
- The correct spelling of the receiver’s first and last name
- The country in which you are sending
- Sending to the USA; you will need to know the state of the receiver
If sending $1000.00 and over you will need a valid Government picture ID including:
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- Citizenship Card
- Permanent Resident Card
Information the receiver will need:
- The MTCN you will receive after your transaction
- A valid Government issued photo ID
- Some countries will need the receiver to answer a secret question.
- You will need to provide the question to the answer
MONEY TRANSFER INFORMATION
For all transactions through Jamaica National and or Western Union:
- Amount must be paid in full at the time of transaction
- We accept only debit or cash for any type of money transfer service
- We only accept Canadian currency for all types of payment
When sending phone credit also known as TopUp with Digicel to a phone in Jamaica:
- You must ensure that the number you were given and sending the TopUp to is correct
- After the credit has been sent to the phone, it cannot be retrieved
